Student Instructions

Student papers and presentations will be evaluated from each symposium and those with the best combined score will be selected for an award. One graduate level award and one undergraduate level award will be presented. For more information please contact Paul van Susante, A.M. ASCE, at pjvansus@mtu.edu.

Students who wish to participate must meet the following criteria:

• Be a student at the time of submission of the paper
• Be first author on the paper and have written the majority of the paper content
• Present the paper in person at the conference with one or more of the jury members present
